How do I remove this box? Or, at least, change the text.. I added my own box below, in the registration site's settings, but this is misleading.

I can not see the image. You probably have to make it public...

I never touched permissions after uploading pictures (so far).

AFAIK, Hubzilla's file/image uploads default to restricted permissions. So you
do
have to take care of permissions by either adjusting them for each upload or adjusting your own default settings.

@Jupiter Rowland
isn't my second shot showing that this hub has access permission to the picture?

This is a bit complicated, and we need to find a better way of handling this, I think...
You have given the
forum channel
permission to view the image. Which means that the owner of the forum channel can see it if they switch to that channel. However, you have not given
the menbers
of the channel permission to see the image.
There's really no way of doing that, as your hub don't know who the members of the forum is. And the permissions is checked by your channel on your hub.
The solution for now is to enable OCAP access in your
privacy settings
. What this does is to change the permissions for media attachment so that anyone receiving the post also has permissions to view the attachments.
This is a setting affecting all your posts, however. Not only those to a specific forum channel.
