"ICE vehicles were seen speeding up and down residential streets, and going 50mph the wrong direction down one-way streets before intentionally weaponizing their vehicle to hit a neighbor on his e-bike, tasering him, breaking his arm and then pinning him to the ground. ICE then grabbed another woman, put her into their vehicle and attempted to drive off (Both are US citizens.)
The community came out to protect their neighbors, ICE quickly found themselves outnumbered and called Long Beach Police for assistance.
Long Beach Police arrived and the community immediately demanded they do something about the masked ICE agents who had been terrorizing the community while trying to kidnap another woman, whom neighbors demanded be released at once.
Long Beach Police responded, “we can’t do anything about that.” — But that didn’t stop the community from coming together and doing what was necessary to protect its neighbors.
At least 12 ICE vehicles descended onto the community before retreating. Nobody was kidnapped. The community came together and demonstrated what power looks like in numbers.
DHS and US Attorney Bill Essayli quickly tried to spin a false narrative in several statements falsely claiming their vehicle was damaged by a “rioter” who was on an e-bike. Camera footage clearly shows the unmarked ICE vehicle speeding the opposite direction down a one-way street and intentionally striking a neighbor on his e-bike for no reason. (See previous posts)
If you see ICE in your community you have a right to document, protest, make noise and be loud. You have a right to alert others about ICE activity in your area. You have a right to walk down the street and not be kidnapped and assaulted by masked wannabe paramilitary secret police because of the color of your skin.
Only we can keep us safe."
