Spot on. Maybe my exposure to ELIZA in the 80s (still a long time after it was created) inoculated me a bit against LLMs. I still remember being shocked, after swearing at ELIZA, getting back, "Perhaps in your imagination we fuck one another." Took me at least 5 seconds to figure out I'd been had.
